The Transnational Collaboration Protocol was delivered within GendeRIS Project – The Gender Dimension in Anti-trafficking Policies and Prevention Activities in Romania, Italy and Spain HOME/2012/ISEC/AG/THB/4000003821, cofounded by the prevention of and fight against Crime Programme of the European Union. This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.

GendeRIS is a project to support and strengthen the fight against trafficking in human beings through the use of a gender sensitive methodology. It is the product of a partnership between organisations from Romania, Italy and Spain.

GendeRIS project aims to support and strengthen the fight against trafficking in human beings by defining a methodological approach for gender-sensitive policies which can be used to strengthen the prevention of trafficking in human beings. By ensuring that gender is consistently taken into account when policies against trafficking are designed, prevention initiatives and activities will be better targeted, more specific and more effective.

This Transnational Collaboration Protocol among organizations aims to support a gender oriented perspective in anti-trafficking prevention.
